Coworking for Remote Employees and Independent Workers in the Heart of Downtown Ann Arbor.

Our Coworking Community

Workantile is a coworking community for independent workers in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor. Our members are mostly remote employees and self-employed people who have come together to create a productive place for working socially. We take coworking beyond tech, with a membership that includes writers, graphic artists, graduate students, legal, marketing and non-profit professionals as well as programmers, designers and tech managers.

Prior to joining Workantile, our members often toiled in cluttered back bedrooms, noisy coffee shops, isolated private offices, and crowded public libraries. Now we work and socialize in the wonderful space you see here.

In Their Own Words

Two of our members, Sarah Zettel and Brendan Chard, were recently interviewed by Lucy Ann Lance on Ann Arbor’s 1290AM about the Workantile community, what it’s all about, and how it positively impacts their lives and work. Listen in!

What’s Happening @Workantile

In honor of Juneteenth, here is a re-post of an important reflection by @Abolish_Time . "In our efforts toward Black liberation, we must be certain that we are not reinforcing the very system that prevent us from becoming free."

If you find yourself walking around Ann Arbor's neighborhoods more frequently, have you discovered any new treasures? Spotted any Fairy Doors of Ann Arbor recently? Shhh, this one is located nearby Workantile's entrance. #TinyDoorsTuesday #AnnArborFairyDoor #FairyDoorsOfAnnArbor

Some #MotivationMonday to help make working from home work for you. Try to avoid work creep! Without typical end-of-work-day cues (Workantile friends clearing their desks and wishing all a good night), it’s easy for work to creep into your life:

#WorkantileLovesAnnArbor and we are looking forward to the other side, where we can visit Ann Arbor’s downtown shops and eateries again! Also to have delicious @HyperionCoffee coffee constantly brewing. Is it just us or does coffee at home not taste as good?

Workantile is “creating a comfortable, creative, supportive space for people who would otherwise find themselves working alone." - Sarah Zettel on Ann Arbor’s 1290AM interview with Brendan Chard (by Lucy Ann Lance). Give it a listen at #ThrowbackThursday
